For this artist research I looked at Ian Cheng because as soon as I clicked on his name I was getting PTSD just looking at all the modeling he was doing. Just looking at all the work he was doing in 3D is amazing. He puts in so much work for just a short amount of time that he displays his works. Just knowing how much he must do just to model and rig some of these characters is an impressive feat that is one that most people don’t have the time or patience for. I just think he’s amazing being able to create such vast and creative environments that take you places even if those places don’t exist. One of Ian’s works that I really enjoy looking at is Emissaries. I really enjoy this piece because he works with Maya, and other 3D software, but also does things in A.I. This work I think was mostly done with A.I. which just shows how much we are able to actually do with computers. It also shows that A.I. is able to create amazing things and let’s be honest th
